Internship: Complete your mandatory internship required by your faculty with us or gain valuable work experience through a voluntary internship at a global player. We offer internships in almost all areas, from Process Engineering to Quality Management to Controlling or Purchasing.

The Wilo Graduate Program

Your Start in the Wilo Graduate Program

You have completed your studies and are now ready to truly begin your career, but not just anywhere. You’re looking for room to learn, explore, and grow? Then our Wilo Graduate Program is made exactly for you. Over the course of 24 months, you will get to know Wilo step by step, work in different departments, and systematically develop toward your future role. You will start flexibly, with personalized onboarding and close support from day one.

Diverse Assignments

During the program, you will complete several clearly defined assignments in different business areas. These are carefully selected to provide you with a solid foundation and a comprehensive understanding of structures, processes, and business interrelationships.

You will take on responsibility early and contribute to meaningful projects. One assignment will take you to another European country, giving you the opportunity to gain international experience.

Learning and Development

Your professional and personal development is always at the center of the program. Instead of following a rigid training plan, we will design your individual learning journey together. At the beginning, we will jointly define your development plan, which will guide you throughout the program. You will be supported by both a professional and a personal mentor. After each assignment, structured feedback sessions ensure that you know where you stand and what your next steps will be.

Community and Networking

Through our Wilo Graduate Program, you will be well connected from the very beginning: you will work closely with colleagues in the specialist departments, build a strong network early on, and get to know leaders as well as key interfaces within the company.

What Happens After the Program?

Quite simply: a permanent position.

Toward the end of the program, we will jointly define your target position, a responsible key role that matches your profile. Whether it is a specialist position or one with initial leadership responsibility will depend on your development and the opportunities within the company.

• Internship: Your first step. Start with an internship and gain valuable insights into the working world of an innovative company. You will work on initial projects to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice.

• Working Student Position: Deepen your knowledge. Continue your experiences from the internship and work as a working student on challenging projects.

• Thesis: Your degree in cooperation with Wilo. Choose an exciting and practice-relevant topic for your bachelor's or master's thesis in consultation with our departments. Benefit from the support of experienced experts during the creation of your thesis.

Of course, you can also start directly as a working student and complete your internship with us at a later stage. For writing a thesis, a previous internship or working student position is beneficial. This way, you can already build an understanding of our company processes and gain in-depth technical knowledge. For this reason, we rarely advertise thesis topics externally.
