With its range of versions, the Wilo-Atmos GIGA-NX offers a wide variety of motors and materials and can be operated in a temperature range from -20 to +140 °C. This makes the glanded pump a configurable all-round solution for diverse industrial applications.
Designed for continuous operation, the pump features corrosion-resistant stainless steel hydraulics and a maintenance-free ball bearing ensuring a long service life. The spacer coupling enables quick replacement of the mechanical seal for maintenance purposes. The Wilo-Atmos GIGA-NX enables speed control with a Wilo-EFC frequency converter and can be equipped with temperature and vibration monitoring for early detection of impending downtime.
In this context, Wilo offers additional services which range from commissioning to maintenance. With the all-inclusive, worry-free WiloCare package, Wilo remote monitoring ensures optimal operational reliability.

Application
- The pumping of heating water (in accordance with VDI 2035), chilled water and water-glycol mixtures in heating, chilled water and cooling systems.

Construction

Commissioning
- If pumps with 2900 rpm are installed inside residential buildings, then corresponding noise reducing measures are to be implemented.
- Pump curves and specific motor powers depend on the respective fluid being pumped. Pump curves and power vary considerably when fluids are conveyed that differ from water in thickness and/or viscosity. For this, please observe the table “Recommended limit values for dimensioning”. The recommended limit values for dimensioning are calculated as follows: Qoptimum (volume flow at which the pump reaches its best efficiency), to be read from the individual pump curve; Qmin and Qmax factors to be taken from the “Recommended limit values for dimensioning” table. Qmin configuration = Qmin x Qoptimum Qmax configuration = Qmax x Qoptimum example: Size of Atmos GIGA-NX 032-125 Qmin = 0.3 x 8 = 2.4 m3/h Qmax = 1.2 x 8 = 9.6 m3/h
- Load-sensitive pump output All Wilo standard pumps are equipped with IEC standard motors. The Wilo control devices are suitable for automatic load-sensitive speed control of pumps that are driven by any standard motors of conventional manufacture.
